Meet The Staff

Laura Buckingham, Community Manager

Laura has been a part of the Prairie Meadows team since October 2016.  She has a strong background in working with people with developmental disabilities and seniors in assisted livings/memory care communities.  She enjoys building relationships with residents/families and supporting them in their journey together.  Her goal is to create a home-like atmosphere for the residents and to create a culture of caring among our team of committed team members here at Prairie Meadows.  When she is not at work, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and twin boys that are both pursuing nursing careers.  She enjoys the outdoors, loves to travel, plays in a 500 card club and enjoys her family and friends

Evonne Schlobohm, Community Relations Manager

Evonne enjoys touring and visiting with guests about the simple elegance and the home-like feel of Prairie Meadows.  She loves to talk about the opportunities for socialization, the delicious meals, and the many activities. Not to mention the beautiful spacious apartments. When Evonne is not working she loves to spend time with her family and friends, watching football and movies, playing 500 cards, decorating her home and going on road trips. Evonne and her husband David have two grown daughters and two very special puppies.

Kathy Struckmann, Healthcare Coordinator

Kathy came to Prairie Meadows in November of 2016.  She has over 20 years experience in health care, caring for people in various stages of age, intellectual developmental, and life progression.  She has held the following licenses:  Real Estate (GRI), Insurance, and registered for Securities.  Although these were great, interesting career choices, Kathy always continued in the health care field.  She decided to go to nursing school at age 48 and graduated with an Associate’s Degree from Rochester Community and Technical College in 2014.  Her specialty of choice was hospice care.  Being at Prairie Meadows has allowed her to benefit from that long term, trusting relationship with the residents who she serves.  This trust is what carries them through the latter stages of life and Kathy is honored they let her be a part of of their journey, whatever mile they are at!!  Kathy enjoys listening to the birds sing and wind blow (in true Minnesotan form, she really enjoys a good snow storm so long as everyone is safe!). Kathy loves spending time with her husband of 20 years, her grown daughter and son, 2 dogs, and just recently, 2 kittens!

Tiffany Bell, Life Enrichment Coordinator

Tiffany loves the community feel of Prairie Meadows.  As activity director her desire is to foster an environment that supports the social, physical, and mental wellness of all living here.  Her favorite place in Prairie meadows is the library.  A great place to gather for connection!  When Tiffany is not at work, she is spending time with her three children and her husband, reading, planning her next trip, biking, playing board games with her large family, and cheering on the Packers!

Jill Duitsman, Culinary Coordinator

Jill has worked in the food industry for over 20 years.  She has been with Prairie Meadows since September 2017. She loves the “at home” feel Prairie Meadows has.  When you walk into the building you instantly receive that feeling. She really enjoys working closely with the residents, listening to their likes and dislikes, & then making changes to fit their likes. When Jill is not at work, she loves hosting events for family and friends. She loves playing games, watching movies, shopping & taking family vacations with her husband, son & daughter.

Bob Reggin, Maintenance Coordinator

Bob started at Prairie Meadows in March of 2019.  He has a strong knowledge in all facets of building maintenance and grounds upkeep to ensure our community is always in good condition and clean. Bob’s personality is a great fit with all our residents here at Prairie Meadows and he is always willing to start a new project. In his free time, Bob loves to spend time with his four grandchildren and when the weather permits, put miles on his Harley Davidson.
